well, i guess cincinnati must feel like hell right now.
pensacola is chilly by pensacola standards…
i will comment on the number of Southern folk who have been complaining about the “bitter cold” weather the last couple days and my comment is this: oh, get over it! y’all don’t know cold!!Â
to all my Northern friends and family: wish you were here. the spare bedroom is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.Â

I saw the 7 degrees here in Tennessee last night, so I went home and put on just shorts and ran outside and enjoyed the cold for about 15 minutes. It felt great except I am still looking for where my toes went, since I can no longer feel them.
No, I thought it felt great. I’m about to do the same thing again, but with sandals, and oh it will be a beautiful briskness. Unless you drive by and see my naked upper torso, there’s just not much beautiful about that at all, especially with the perky nipples.

Got down to almost -20 last night, currently somewhere around -8 this morning, with -30 windchills. Good news is we’ll see +32 by Tuesday :)

currently -7. it doesn’t feel that bad, though. the house is warm. i’m sure it cost us about $50 to sleep in 60 degree indoor weather last night.
